Ginger Island has a new dungeon, a new character named Leo you can befriend and move to the mainland, and far more new content than we can possibly mention here. If you’re an SDV fan, this is your new endgame spot.

Stardew Valley: How to Get to Ginger Island

Before you can make any progress toward getting to the new Stardew Valley area, you’ll need to first turn in every bundle for the Community Center.

Willy will get in touch with you via a letter requesting your help repairing his boat soon after you’ve turned in the last bundle. You’ll need to visit Willy after 9 a.m. to start this task.

You’ll need to help Willy repair his boat to make your way to Ginger Island, which is no simple task. He requests:

Five Battery Packs to repair the Ticket Machine 200 Hardwood to repair the Ship Hull Five Iridium Bars to repair the Iridium Anchor

How to Get Battery Packs in Stardew Valley

Battery Packs are the trickiest items to get in the list above, but they’re not too hard.

Sometimes you can buy Battery Packs from the Traveling Cart when it comes around on Fridays and Sundays. You can try to grind on Iridium Bats, found on floors 50 and above in Skull Cavern, which have a low chance to drop Battery Packs. You can place Lightning Rods on your farm, which require one Iron Bar, one Refined Quartz, and five Bat Wings each, which may produce a Battery Pack the day after a storm.

Once you’ve given Willy all the materials he needs to get his boat back in working condition, you’ll be able to use it to travel to Ginger Island and explore all it has to offer the day after it’s repaired.
